Halloween is coming up, and I know a lot of you Altair fans will want to hit the streets in a badass Assassin’s Creed costume. Only thing is… you won’t be able to find this one in stores. Getting an Assassin’s Creed costume will mean building it from scratch.
Luckily, there’s someone out there who has already done it. So you know it can be done, just follow the advice/tips in this thread and use the pictures.

For hidden blade, you need two aluminum tubes making sure one of them slides nicely in and out of the other (nothing horny or bad or something here). You will also need two nails of the same size (about 1.5 or 2 inches long, it depends on your pipe but it should have an excess of about 3 cm when hammered into the smaller tube) and something to block the end of one of the tubes. First put the thing to block the tube on one end of the larger tube, secure it with some duct tape or something. Cut through the radius of the smaller tube about 5-7 cm from the end (leave the end whole) and from there, cut all the way through to the other end (the one that shouldn’t be left whole. Flatten the half part of the smaller tube with a hammer and cut off excess from the side if needed. Cut a slit in the bigger tube about as long as the blade, but leave a few centimeters excess on each end. Do this slit on both sides but make sure they are equal in length and that the nails will fit in because you will be hammering the nails into the blades excess end. Put the blade in the slit, the blade part should be at the bottom of the big tube and you should see the excess end of it. Hammer a nail into one side of the blade tubes excess end until you have about 2 cm of the nail on both sided. Hammer the other nail on the other side but make sure it is not more than a mm away from the other nail, try hammering it where the point of the nail hits the head of the other (this will serve as a stopper for when you bring down the blade). Test it! See if the blade goes out of the bigger tube and if it stops well. If it doesn’t work then you have to do it again… (pwnt!) Strap it to your hand or on/in a glove. If you want it to look cooler, shape the blade when you know the mechanism works. FINALLY! THE FINAL STEP! Pledge your allegiance to the creed, and have your ring finger removed. Unless you want to kill someone with your hidden blade, don’t do the final step. WARNING!!! I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE GETTING SCREWED. IF YOU SCREW YOURSELF THEN IT’S YOUR FAULT FOR BEING CLUMSY AND BUILDING THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF YOU DON’T WANT ANY HARM, THEN LEAVE THE BLADE TUBE REMAIN A TUBE AND DON’T FLATTEN IT ANYMORE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HARM ANYONE OR LOOK LAME, THEN FLATTEN THE BLADE BUT DO NOT BRING IT OUT A LOT. AND NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT RETRACT ALONE OR GO OUT WHEN YOU LIKE. IT WILL GO OUT THROUGH GRAVITY AND RETURN THROUGH GRAVITY OR WHEN YOU FLICK YOUR HAND HARD ENOUGH. DON’T BLAME ME IF YOU DON’T FEEL LIKE ALTAIR.
Also if you’re not already done with the hood, it has some sort of eagle head look to it, tape a little paper triangle to the end of the hood or if you’re awesome then use cloth. Please do not attempt to jump from a bell tower of a church and into a haystack, or your next stop is the mental hospital (and they’ll take your costume =( so don’t do it).

I only know that I’m buying an outft that costs like $1783.27. It’s either from the darknight place or measumrepiclas. I can’t wait to buy it, i’m going to walk around town one day and on the first day of school that I have it. I’m so going to wear it there. It cost so much for the costume because the weapons come with it. Ok it’s desided, this costume is so going to be my death clothes for when I die.
Also no offence dude but you don’t ask for 15 bucks for something as big as this. This thong is an art and this guy can do it awesomely.

i got mine at thist costume store and i made a homemade hidden blade which works really got just pull the string and the blade came out and the suit even came with a toy sword and 15 thworing knifes.

Hey guys, I’ve been looking around about Assassin’s Creed costumes and noticed that it’s not sold in Europe, well what is sold there is kinda crappy quality from the images i’ve seen. Museum Republica is the official Assassin’s Creed costumes seller, the problem is that they don’t ship overseas, only in USA. I own Assassin’s Creed costume too bought it from them, I’m not sure how to upload my pic, but anyway I’m thinking of doing you all a favor, and put it on ebay, as you want it i’ll just buy it for you from the original manufacturer and ship it whereever you want for just a very little extra fee. anyone interested leave a comment here.
