Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Beta

Assassin’s Creed fans are extremely excited about an upcoming game later this year, especially now that it has multiplayer added in. Because of adding multiplayer, Ubisoft will need to get into testing the game more thoroughly and spend time capturing user feedback. With single player console games you never see a beta for the public. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is going to be different.

“We have not announced exactly the date yet,” said Guillemot, according to Joystiq, “but yes, we will have a beta test.”

Unlock Harlequin With Your Pre-Order

Head over to GameStop and preorder Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and you will be given access to a new character named Harlequin. Ubisoft hasn’t released much info on who he/she is, but you will get to play him in multiplayer mode. Here is what we know: “Behind the gaudy costume and twisted smile lies the soul of a merciless Assassin. You call yourself the Harlequin.”

Not sure if this is just a new costume for you to wear or a new character to play. But a lot of people are speculating that if you don’t want to preorder, that you will be able to access Harlequin for a small fee once the game launches.

Do you think this is enough incentive for you to preorder the game with GameStop?

New Assassin’s Creed:Brotherhood Details

The Examiner is reporting new details on Ubisoft’s upcoming title Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

The game will pick up after the events of Assassin’s Creed 2 and continue to focus on the activities of that game’s hero, Ezio Auditore. Ezio is now a master assassin and his taking his fight against the Templar conspiracy deep into the heart of Rome and recruiting and training a new generation of assassins. The game’s biggest change is the addition of multi-player, but there is also a 15 hour single-player campaign included.

We’ve also seen that there will be new weapons in the game. Two new weapons were revealed in teaser content for the game, a bladed fan and switch blade version of the hidden blade.

I can’t wait to see what Ubisoft has in mind for multiplayer mode. I’ve read that we will get to pick from several different character classes and each class will have a unique set of skills and weapons to be used in battle.

Assassin’s Creed 2 Mini Game

Ubisoft and Intel teamed up to create a new Assassin’s Creed 2 mini game that can be played on your web browser.

Assassin’s Creed 2: Intelligence, conceived and developed by The Game Agency for Intel and Ubisoft, is a mini-game that lives on the Assassin’s Creed 2 web site or can be embedded into your existing media pages for your fans to jump in and play.

The mini game is a hidden object game. There will be a piece of AC conceptual art and you are asked to find hidden objects like daggers, seals, mauls, apples, etc. It’s pretty fun, but I’m not sure how often you’ll be going back once you finish it.

Assassin’s Creed 2: Caption Me – 5

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Assassin’s Creed 2: Caption Me post. So here’s one for you to try today. I’m not very good at these, but I figure someone can come up with something clever when you have a hot ass researcher and a man confined to a chair in the same shot.
