Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Comic Con Trailer

This Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood multiplayer trailer was recently released at Comic Con in San Diego.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Achievements

We don’t know the official list of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood achievements yet, but people are speculating (or creating a wishlist) of what some of them might be. I found a few of these on the internet, they definitely seem likely to be in the game:

Ciao Roma- go to Rome

The Fall- destroy a siege tower

All roads lead to Rome – All viewpoints

Sweeney – first kill as Barber

Up Up and Away – Use a merchandise lift

Boom Boom Pow – Get (amount) kills with the cannon

Modern times, Medieval Weapons – Kill (amount) riflemen with a blade or arrow.

The Brotherhood – Max out all members of the brotherhood

Are there any achievements you’d like to see in the game? Post a comment with the name of the achievement and what it would take to earn it.

Assassin’s Creed Comic Book

Colin from GamingUnion.net wrote that Ubisoft has announced a new mini-comic series for the Assassin’s Creed franchise which is set to be unveiled at a Comic Con panel this year on July 22. The panel is titled “Assassin’s Creed: Behind and Beyond the Brotherhood” and will shed some light on both the comic as well as Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, set for release this Fall.

“We are excited to have the fantastic and acclaimed artists Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl working on the project. Ubisoft is looking forward to showing Assassin’s Creed fans what these talented artists have been up to at next week’s Comic-Con panel.”

Here’s a short teaser for the comic book series. Judging by this video, I think it’s safe to assume that the comic book will take place in Russia – a new place for characters.

Keeping the streak alive

Ubisoft has released a new Assassin’s Creed title every year for the last three years (including Brotherhood this winter). Do you think they will keep the streak alive and release another chapter to this series in 2011 ?

According to an IGN article, Ubisoft will be giving the Assassin’s Creed franchise a breather next year:

“Honestly, I think for the benefit of everybody – and business can come back and override everything I say because at the end of the day it’s about selling games – I believe that this license needs a breather. You can’t plough a field every year,” he said, “Once every three years – or once every something – you have to let it breathe. You have to let the minerals back in. I think it’s the same thing with any license, really.”

Does this mean they will develop a completely new game for Assassin’s Creed 3? What do you think?

Selecting Members of your Brotherhood

In Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood we have a new feature that allows us to add 8-12 (not confirmed yet) members to a ‘brotherhood’ – hence the name of the game. There will probably be a recruiting process of sorts, similar to the original KOTOR. We don’t know what all the classes are but maybe you could add 3 range, 4 melee, and 2 healers to your brotherhood. You will be able to assign them to side missions across Europe.

Do you like the idea of having a brotherhood, or do you prefer to fly solo? Would you only let men into your brotherhood? Post your comments and let us know.

Q&A Session from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Developers

Games Media Pro has a great Q&A session with Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood developers Shane Baudet and Vincent Pontbriand. It’s a pretty cool read that gives a little insight into the development behind Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and what we can expect from the game.

A couple of the questions asked include:

What can you tell us about the cast of characters for this new title?

Why did you decide to go to Rome for the next installment of the franchise?

How has Ezio evolved from AC2 to AC Brotherhood after all that he has gone through?
