A lot of people complain about the long cutscenes in Assassin’s Creed. For your first time through, it’s great watching them.. but if you’re playing for a second time it might be nice to skip them. Ubisoft didn’t include a feature to do this, but luckily there is a glitch to solve our problems! Check it out:
1) Before locking onto the person you want to talk to, back up a little so you can jump towards him.
2) Hold high profile button and jump towards the person.
3) While jumping, quickly press lock on, so the person starts talking while you’re jumping.
4) you’ll jump into the person, so he’ll lose his balance and stops talking, so you’ll start or complete the mission but you skipped the dialogue.
This trick works with:
-the saved citizens
-flag challenge, merchant stand challenge, assassination challenge, rooftop race challenge, archer stealth assassination challenge and assassin escort, both at the beginning of the mission and at the end of the mission.
If you have any problems getting it to work, let me know.
