The entire internet (at least us gamers) is up in storm over a recent illustration that was released. Is Ubisoft moving the Assassin’s Creed franchise to ancient Egypt? I don’t think so – and a tweet by Ubisoft says it’s not related. But you have to admit… it might be kind of cool doing a leap of faith off Giza.
“Oh, and before you ask, this has nothing to do with Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood,” UbiWorkshop said on its twitter account.
Here’s the picture that everyone is talking about.

Ancient Egypt…
I found your entry interesting do I’ve added a Trackback to it on my weblog
…
SPOILERS ALERT******
well i think when AC 3 comes out it will have something to do with egypt because both games have had egyptian related stuff and at the end of AC 2 when ur in the vault and shes showing u where the vaults are, the pyramids come up although i don’t think it will b a big part maybe just a bit cuz it seems that in AC 3 u’ll b searching for the vaults before the templars get there.
Look in the Assassin’s left hand!
Its a Head!
I actually hope that instead of focusing on an ancestor, the storyline will focus on Desmond. I hope that half the game features Desmond fighting and evading the Templars in the modern day period and the other half shows different Assassins from Desmond’s bloodline fighting their own wars in the past. Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, hell, maybe even Mesopotamia, but I guess a Medievel England Assassin or a Pirate Assassin would be cool.
@ Billy : ‘And there’s the eagle to take it to the Assassin Farao xd
I definitely think it’s gonna be based on egypt coz *SPOILER*
at the end of AC:B Desmond sees a load of things that all had to do with Egypt for example the hieroglyphics and pyramids just before he kills Lucy so my guess is that you will be an Egyptian assassin because that thing at the end says “Eve is not on this planet any more” or something like that and that could mean mummy’s (MUMMY TEMPLAR) LoL
I’m not sure… I mean, I don’t really care where you’d be at all, I mean the game will be awesome anyways… but the fact that there’s no assassin symbol on this guys wardrobe anywhere is just odd to me… I mean yeah Altair didn’t have anything, but I thought lately they’ve been putting a lot of force into the symbolism of the Creed… and in the picture the only thing is the eagle… I mean it is just a picture,, or rough draft, but it just seems strange to me…
