It’s very rare for a game to be as successful as Assassin’s Creed nowadays with no multiplayer support. I hardly ever buy single play games anymore… Assassin’s Creed being the exception. I’m not sure if it’s something Ubisoft will even consider for Assassin’s Creed 2. But I thought it would be fun to toss out a couple of multiplater ideas and pretend that one day this game could be played with others.
Scenario 1
You and 3 friends join up an online game and have to work together to perform the perfect assassination
Scenario 2
Guards vs. Assassins. It would pretty much be a 4v4 team melee. Guards would have arrows and swords, while Assassins would have their swords and knives. It wouldn’t be one hit and you’re dead… you’d have to do some serious sword battles and possibly escape tough situations.
Scenario 3
One person is the assassin and the other 4-5 people in the online game are the guards trying to protect someone from being assassinated.
That’s pretty much all I could think of off the top of my head. If anyone has any multiplayer ideas, feel free to post a comment.

i like scenario 3 thats a good idea and if ubisoft doesnt want a assassins creed 2 then just let it be a download..and or addon
I think they all great ideas,But dont u think i would be hard to make a multiplayer mod for a sophisticated game like assassins creed,U better knw wat ur doin.

people will be in a city and each 1 gets a target so you will be hunting somebody but at the same time you are being hunted down by somebody else
Hello. While I do agree with your choices of multiplayer in assassins creed 2, I’m afriad that only the type of online activity to be played would be co-op story mode or something. I, too have some ideas for Assassins Creed 2, one being similar to your “senerio 3″, where there is 2 assassins, 5 gaurds, and 1 target. Each player is a human player and some may die with 1 hit due to the hidden blade.
Anyway, these ideas you have are not bad, but I don’t think Ubisoft will really consider putting a lot of effort into the online community as to just letting us have a friend in co-op mode. I don’t appose the co-op idea as it does seem fun.
I got a bit off topic but ummmm, your ideas are great but don’t be disappointed if they turn out to not be included in the game.

ABout that melee. It would be interesting when people keep pressing R1 (or whatever button on the PC) to wait for a chance to use counter attack so the scenario 1 is a no no for me.
Altho a splinter cell style co-op mode would be awesome with combined wall boosts and combo assassinations. You could also use Co-op to ambush enemies since you can assassinate 2 enemies at a time. And also 1 can support from the roof or something. Well, just an idea.
Assassin’s Creed II is one of the best games I’ve ever played
Ubisoft actually managed to beat it’s awsome predecessor in pretty much every way, some great ideas guys, they’ve already got us playing on a system that means we all have to be online and connected to play, I hope they set up a system in the middle to make all the games merge, so you can play through the story and other players will be at the same time in they’re game, and use a system of say, if someone else is doin a mission you cant and have to wait. but you then gain the misson to kill that assassin and take his contract or get to the contact first, or deffo a co-op option where both players have to agree to half the florrins or summat. throw in alot more costume design choices in the shops and youve got loads of diff assassins lol, imagine the free for alls lmao 
either way the game rules I’m sure any online adaptions will be cool too (Y)
hey, these all seem like great ideas, mabey there could be a mode where there is 3-5 assasins, and one target, but the target has weapons and the assasins dont.
