When Assassin’s Creed 1 was released most people couldn’t even dream of playing the game because of its high system requirements, well it took a while but soon the technology was easily available and many people got hooked on to the game, with its assassin like game play techniques. The basic idea itself gives the need for high graphics in order to maintain the story line and the essence of playing a assassin game would be lost if the graphics were not high enough. Another main ingredient in the success of the game is in the attention to detail, the engravings of the poison blade and the other weapons are clearly visible at high settings.
In the new Assassins Creed game, which is Assassins Creed 2 there are said to be many more tactical moves available and the number of weapons also increases. For example assassinate two people at once by means of Ezio’s dual hidden blades as shown in the E3 2009 game demo. If the graphic detail is not present in such a scenario then the entire idea of an assassin game is lost. Well my guess is that a minimum of Nvidia 9600 will be needed to play this game in medium settings, or an Nvidia GTX 260 would probably be able to max out this game, but these are just my speculations.
This game is crudely like prince of Persia with its city like surroundings and the weapons, but the graphics are still way better in the Assassins Creed series.
Well we can only wait for the release of the game to see just what level of graphics this game will offer.
