Apparently some information about Assassin’s Creed 2 was leaked from a focus group in Montreal.
In an interview, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot refused to talk about Assassin’s Creed 2, but confirmed it was in development: Guillemot said, “What we just can say is that we are working hard on the product.”[47] On February 24, 2009, tipsters who were involved in a Ubisoft focus group reported to Joystiq that they were shown early footage of the sequel and it appears that the game takes place in 15th century Italy with an Italian protagonist, similar in appearance to Alta?but more colorful, named Ezio. Gameplay updates include abilities to swim and the use of gunpowder.[48] The game is expected to be released by March 2010. [49]
Everyone’s pretty excited about this game. Having an expected release date of March 2010 is news to me. I’m not quite sure I believe it, but I guess we can all hope!

frankly, this seems kinda lame, i mean really, i was hoping that you would play as the modern dude, but if ezio or whatever is his ancestor too, that might not be so bad i guess maybe work up to the 21st century…
honestly, I thought after the credits I had to escape the room, since they were trying to kill me and all…but apparently that is not the case….very lame…didnt really wrap up the game…I also thought AC2 would kinda complete this unfinished story. So I’m jus’ stuck in the room forever?! What sense does that make?! I’m so lost…But I thoroughly enjoyed the game…and look forward to finally being able to swim, lol.

AC 1 was really cool but u never get to use the crossbow!and they should have continued with the first game like his modern self was rascued by other assassins and they needed info for something and send you back into the animus.
this is just me, but there’s a good chance that the intro / beginnig of the sequal will answer alot of ?’s like what will happen after the credits and why it’s jumping in time and so on. just be patient. with a game this well thought out, i’m sure there won’t be any seriously crucial info left out which won’t be revealed sooner or later
