I’m sure this is a bug in Assassin’s Creed 2, and in fact, it might have even been fixed in the first patch release. Basically, you can be standing on the rooftop where you see only one archer – then suddenly multiple archers start spawning. And they keep on spawning until it covers the entire roof and they start falling off the roof. From what I read the game will eventually lock up and you have to reboot.

What a fight that would be trying to kill dozens of constantly respawning archers.

Have you ever heard of this, or encountered it? What did you do?
