Longer Single Player Campaign?

I remember when Assassin’s Creed was launched back in November 2007 we were told that the single player campaign would last about 40 hours. Well, anyone who has played Assassin’s Creed to the end knows that it only takes about half that time to finish it.

So my question to you today is, should there be an Assassin’s Creed sequel, would you rather it have a longer single player campaign or having some multiplayer aspect to it. The key is to add something to this game to make it last longer.

Some fans enjoy single player games. Maybe they don’t have internet hookup to get online and play? Or maybe there just aren’t any solid multiplayer ideas? While other fans could care less about a single player game and only go after multiplayer modes. That’s how I was with Gears of War. I never played more then 10 minutes of the single player game, but played hours online.

So what would you choose? Post a comment and let me know.

Also, don’t forget that you still have a chance to win Assassin’s Creed for free on Xbox 360!

Collections Flags on PC

Posted in Assassin's Creed PC  by Haven No Comments

For those of you wondering, collecting the flags on the PC version of Assassin’s Creed is pretty much a waste of time. On the XBOX 360 version, you can get an achievement for Xbox Live, but on the PC version all it does is create a save point. It’s a complete waste of time.

Ubisoft needs to create an update for PC gamers that makes the flags worth something. Why can’t PC users have an achievement system where they can compare their scores against others across the globe. Anything to keep the fans interested in playing!

Ubisoft Files $10M Suit Over Assassin’s Creed PC Leak

Posted in Assassin's Creed PC  by Haven No Comments

French publisher and developer Ubisoft is suing disc manufacturer Optical Experts Manufacturing (OEM), blaming the North Carolina-based company for the leak of the PC version of Assassin’s Creed onto the Internet earlier this year. Talk about waiting till you get all the facts straight. It’s been like 6 months since this happened.

According to Ubisoft, the pirated version of the game was downloaded 700,000 times, compared to retail sales of just 40,000 units. That is definitely a large quantity of pirated copies, but certainly nothing compared to the number of Couter-Strike copies that are downloaded online every day. According to a report by GameSpot, an employee was allowed to take a copy of the game home and then subsequently posted it online.

You can’t trust anyone these days can you?
